The SA10YRUKN is designed specifically for existing residential and institutional applications including houses, flats and bed-sits. It is completely tamper-proof.
The lithium cells are an integral part of the circuit board and so cannot be removed, alleviating the many problems associated with battery removal or failure - the most common cause of fire incidents.
In case of an unwanted alarm the SA10YRUKN features a silencer button that will automatically reset and quieten the unit while occupants respond.

The SA10YRUKN is designed to give reliable early warning of fire by providing an 85dB alarm when the unit senses smoke.
The unit will operate continually for 10 years and only then will an audible 28-day low battery warning sound to indicate the unit requires replacing.

DESIGN AND INSTALLATION: The SA10YRUKN is designed to offer continuous fire warning protection for large numbers of dwellings. It is fast and easy to install, the mounting bracket is simply attached to ceilings or walls (fixings included in pack).
The unit is shipped with the lithium cell deactivated. To energise the unit the activation post on the reverse of the unit is turned. The activation post also prevents the unit from being installed before fully operational.
The ionisation sensing technology provides the most effective method of detecting fast flaming fires such as grease, oil and wastepaper bin fires.
The alarm has been fully tested and certified to the latest British Standard BS5446 Pt1;2000 and carries a 10 year product and battery guarantee.
